Wednesday Boxing

On Wednesday night at 6:00 I had my boxing training. Both me and my brother do it we started in a circle like always we did some stretches the stretches we did was a lunge but we held it there but our back leg went all the way down and all we did was lean forward to stretch the knee cap thing. We then put our left leg straight so only the heel of the foot was on the ground the we put our right leg sideways and lent on our left knee then we put our toes up to the ceiling then we switched legs. After both legs we stood up and did our arms we did a thing that your left arm goes across your chin and your right arm pulls it back and we did that with both too. Next was the neck stretches we did roll it back then forward side to side and circles both ways.

We then got buddies I was paired up with this lady called Clarissa she is around 21 years old but the first time I saw her I thought she was way younger. I got the pads on and she got the gloves on the first combo we did was jab jab hook hook then a hook to the hip both sides then two uppercuts she did 10 of those then we switched so it was my turn to do 10. It wasn't that hard the only thing that was wrong was that there was no music because Brian's wife wasn't there Andrea shes the one that runs the group with Brian and Andrea also does boxing with the little kids well like 7,10 and 13 year old's but i'm not in that group i'm in the adults group with my brother and sister and Brian runs that group. When I finished my 10 I waited for the other people to finish but we all finish around the same time if we can keep count and I got a drink.

When everyone finished Brian showed us what to do next i'm pretty sure it was jab jab kick to the right side of the head then jab jab and kick to the left side of the head but they actually put the pad there so we don't kick the persons actual head obviously. But some of the kicks I did made the pads bounce back and hit her head but she didn't mind. Then Clarissa did 10 of those but for some reason every session we have we always do that combo.

Since its kick boxing, on Monday's we actually do more boxing then kicks but on Wednesday's we do basically just kicks like checking and that type of stuff it doesn't hurt that much it only hurts if you go hard and they check it or if you shin there knee. But we're actually meant to wear shin pads most people do but me and ma brother don't because we actually want to condition them so yeah. She did 10 of those then we went into this one we're me and ma brother do it pretty fast but I wasn't with him because he always goes really hard. But it went like this jab, jab, hook, hook, under, under, hook, hook, side, side, hook, hook then a knee to the left thigh. I did them too then we just rested for a little bit and got a drink and had a little spa then we got told of. Then a other guy took the class his name is Sefa he is also a sensei he's a black belt well we don't actually get belts we just get a coloured T-shirt. But anyways Brian went down to help Andrea because some of the kids down that end weren't listening like usual. So Sefa took over and we had two lines and we were standing in front of our partner we were with. And the people with the pads were on the side away from the door and the people with the gloves were the closest to the door and I had the pads on so I was on the side far away from the door and Clarissa was yeah I've said it enough. Sefa said alright we are going to do 1, 1, 2, and what that means is like front hand jab twice and back hand jab once so the leading hand is called one and the other jab is called 2 iykyk we just did heaps of different ones of those I wont type it out because its to confusing and I can't quiet remember to be honest. But we added a Parry and what that is, is when the other person goes to punch your  face nut you put your hand on top of there glove and push it down.
