What I've been doing today.

Today i'm having a really good day because there hasn't been much people here because most of the class are at a skiing trip. So today has been really good and quiet.  At the start of the day we did a little bit of science and for that we are doing a bird garden type of thing and we did science for about 1 hour and a half then we went onto kahoot and did one of those the questions weren't to hard but most of them I got right out to the back field and had a bit of free time. I just got a ball and played kicks with Rylee and Addison but it was really hot. After about 1 hour we went back inside and did a quiz let which is a math game with groups of four and you have to get to 12 questions right  before how ever many groups there are and if you get one question wrong all the questions you had right you go down to 0.

The Dawn Raid's of the 1970's

In literacy this week we have been learning about the dawn raid's this is what I have learnt. In the early 50's, 60's, and 70's, NZ needed a labour force to work. In mid 1970's the market crashed and jobs were lost. New Zealander's complained that jobs were taken by immigrants. The New Zealand government made a law that all over stayers had to leave NZ. So the police raided homes in the early hours of the morning and this was known as The Dawn Raids. Pasifika families were rounded up and deported back to their homeland. The Polynesian Panthers became the voice that taught Pasifika people about their rights.

Weed should be legal.

The NZ General Elections Referendum 2020

The NZ General Elections Referendum 2020

New Zealanders will be voting on the two referendum choices below in October.

My opinion on ending your own life is that you should already be able to end your own life if you are really sick because it is your choice and your life if you have had enough. I also think that it should be legal so people don't have to suffer and I reckon that they shouldn’t have to die in pain.

My opinion on legalising marijuana is that it should be legal because it is just a plant and tobacco is legal and Marijuana isn't and a lot of people want it to be legal so they won't go to jail for growing a plant. I also think it should be legal to everyone, not just the people that use it for medicine but the people that use it for fun can still use it just not while driving.
